Charlie Caden

Initially, I started my working life as a plumbing and heating engineer. In late 2022, I decided to pursue a new career path, having always been interested in financial services and investing. The financial planning profession aligns perfectly with my drive to make a positive impact in people’s lives, and from there, I began self-studying the CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning to gain a strong foundation and build my technical knowledge.

In early 2023, I joined a national independent financial planning firm initially as an administrator.  As a result of my desire to progress and develop, I was promoted to paraplanner and continued to build my technical knowledge working on complex cases with varied client circumstances. 

In early 2025, I completed my CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning and will continue to study towards achieving Chartered status.

Outside of work, I enjoy staying active and regularly attend the gym. I’m a big follower of football and try to get to as many Newcastle games as I can, although getting a ticket at the moment is a challenge!
